:: INTRODUCTION - Mech Units Mech units play an important part in Galactic Battlegrounds. They perform a wide range of tasks, including scouting. If you come face to face with an army patrol or army, Mechs can take out Troopers and other Mechs quite quickly. Mechs are pretty quick movers which means they can be called upon to help defend a location or offer your ally assistance. Most Mechs are cheap to make, meaning that you can build a strong army swiftly. Attack Shields Range Scout Great for looking around. Limited range and weak against everything means that the Scout is useless in combat. Handy for taking out wildlife though.   3 0 2 HIT POINTS: 60 Mech Factory - Tech 2       Strike Mech Strike Mechs are great for taking out troopers. However, weak against Mech Destroyers and can't fire at air units.   4 2 6 HIT POINTS: 40 Mech Factory - Tech 3       Heavy Strike Mech Stronger than the standard Strike Mech means that it has stronger armour and a great range in addition to extra hit points.   9 0 4 HIT POINTS: 80 Mech Factory - Tech 3         Mech Destroyer Great at supporting your army. Strong vs Mech units. Vunerable to Troopers and air. Can carry one unit of Trooper.   6 3 7 HIT POINTS: 150 Mech Factory - Tech 3         Heavy Mech Destroyer (AT-ST) Hardier and stronger than the standard Mech Destroyers, these Tech 4 weapons can destroy enemy platforms/weapons with ease.Watch out for troopers though. Can carry 1 unit of troops.   7 3 7 HIT POINTS: 180 Mech Factory - Tech 4         AT-AT Walker (Assault Mech) The most powerful unit in the game. It can deliver a powerful, explosive attack that severely damages everything in its wide blast. Can carry upto 10 units. Not very effective at close range attacks. The AT-AT can fire at air units. It's the ONLY Assault Mech that can do this. (Only with Clone Campaigns Expansion Pack)   18 4 8 HIT POINTS: 275 Mech Factory - Tech 4       Heavy Assault Mech Extra hit points and a assault bonus make these a tough war machine. Watch out for air units. They can take these babies out in seconds. The AT-AT can fire at air units. It's the ONLY Assault Mech that can do this.
