Along with all the Military units in the game, you will also use some non-military units. The Empire has an additional unit to help it scout. The Probe droid is great for this and cheap.

Attack Shields Range

Hover Cargo
Once you have built a Spaceport, you can Trade with your Allies. The Cargo transporter will take your items direct to the Spaceport. It has no attack and weak armour.

To get more nova, make sure that your allies spaceport is very far away. The greater the distance, the more nova you get.

Probe Droid
These scout units can detect cloaked units, like Jedi and have long range attack strength, however - are very weak.

Medic
Heals your wounded troopers on the battlefields. Can't attack and dies with ease

Worker
Without workers, you can expand. Unarmed but can do hand-to-hand with wildlife, turrets and some units. Workers can repair each other and some Military units.

Power Droid
The mobile power core is cheap and can give you a quick start in providing much needed power to increase your production. Power cores can increase the work load by upto 400%. The Power Droid radius is smaller than a standard Power Core, which is where these droids are built.
